另外，秋天的早上，露水较多，汽车表面往往很潮湿，如果您的爱车表面有明显的刮痕，就应及时做喷漆处理，以免刮痕部位受潮而锈蚀。
补充气压穿“新鞋”
轮胎就像是汽车的“脚”，在车辆安全行驶中，它起着举足轻重的作用。夏季由于气温高，为防止爆胎，轮胎气压不能过高，而到了秋天，由于气温相对较低，轮胎就要补充气压，以使其保持在规定的气压范围。
同时，还应检查轮胎是否有刮痕，因为橡胶在秋冬季节容易变硬而显得较脆，轮胎易漏气，甚至扎胎，另外，要经常清理胎纹内的夹杂物。
应季机油“贴秋膘”
秋冬季，汽车对机油提出了更高的要求。此时，应选用冬季或者全年通用的多标号机油，且应选用纯正品牌的高品质机油，切不可贪便宜使用冒牌的假机油。一般来讲，应至少选用SF或SG级以上的多标号高品质机油，以适应冬季使用。另外，不同牌号机油最好不要混加。单标号机油由于受粘度范围限制不可全部使用，只允许在其规定混合范围内使用。
在日常驾车中，特别是驾车长途出游前，检查机油液面高度，保证其不亏油，这样才能正常行驶。一般更换机油的里程为7000—8000公里。如果汽车长期在多尘、高污染地区以及气温低于－20℃的寒冷地区行驶，则需适当缩短换油里程。
